The Tango Lesson

The Tango Lesson (1997) – 82/100 – mostly tango, some subtitles.

Along with the dancing, what I like about this film is that it feels like Argentine tango — black and white, and shades of gray. In contrast, salsa feels multi-coloured.

I’ve been playing with the idea of starting to learn Argentine tango again. The urge gets stronger right after dancing with a salsera, who is also a tanguera.

Some of my favourite actors/ dancers in this movie:

Pablo VerónPablo Verón.

Gustavo NaveiraGustavo Naveira.

Fabián SalasFabián Salas.
